Our Story
Izindlovu Fund was founded with a clear mission: to support wildlife conservation projects in South Africa while raising awareness across Europe about the critical importance of protecting our planet’s biodiversity.
Since 2019, we have built personal relationships with organisations and people working on the ground, visiting the projects we support and learning directly from those involved.
Our work has always been about creating a direct connection between people who want to make a difference and the organisations and communities doing the work on the ground.
What Makes Us Different
We only support organizations with whom we have personal contact. This ensures transparency and accountability - your money ends up exactly where it should. We visit the projects we support, work directly with the teams on the ground, and can verify the impact of every euro donated.

A New Chapter for Izindlovu Fund
Izindlovu Fund was founded in 2019 as a Belgian non-profit organisation (VZW), supporting wildlife conservation, environmental education and local community initiatives in South Africa.
In 2026, following a change in our circumstances and location, the Belgian VZW was formally brought to an end. The Izindlovu Fund initiative continues, with the same commitment to supporting trusted local projects and people working on the ground.
Today, Izindlovu Fund does not operate as a Belgian VZW or registered charity. Instead, we continue our work as an independent initiative, raising awareness and connecting supporters directly with the local organisations and projects we know and trust.
How your contribution works
When you choose to support a project through Izindlovu Fund, your contribution is made directly to the relevant local organisation or project. Funds are therefore not donated to Izindlovu Fund itself.
We believe in keeping the connection between supporters and the people doing the work on the ground as direct and transparent as possible.
For each project, we aim to provide clear information about who you are supporting and where your contribution goes.

We believe in being transparent about how support reaches the projects we feature.
Izindlovu Fund is no longer a Belgian VZW and does not receive or hold donations. When you choose to support a project through Izindlovu Fund, your contribution is made directly to the relevant local organisation or project.
This means that we do not deduct administrative or operational costs from these contributions. Our role is to connect supporters with trusted projects, share their stories and maintain personal contact with the people working on the ground.
We continue to operate on a voluntary basis and do not take salaries or fees from contributions made to the projects we support.
